People(myself included) spend so much time talking about how unhappy and how miserable they are. But what they do not realize is that only furthers their misery. If I have learned anything from books and life experience it is that the more you talk about something you don’t want to happen the more likely that exact thing will happen. Therefore, in a sense you truly get back what you send out in the world. So, I am going to really try to live my life with this mind frame. Instead of getting all of the negative things I spend endless amounts of time obsessing over I am going to focus all of my energy on the positive. I am choosing to think about all of the things in my life that are making me happy and make me lucky. I don’t think that it will be easy since I seem to fall so easily into the ruts of temporary depression. But, I do think that it is something I can work towards and hopefully in the end I can achieve. (Fingers crossed)
